About the event
Mental Health First Aid for Adults teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions.
Please note that this is an In-Person 1-day, 8-hr training. At the end of the training, each participant will receive a certification that is good for 3 years. Two 10-minute breaks and 30 minutes for lunch will be provided. If you have experienced any COVID-19 symptoms or flu-like symptoms, we encourage you to register for our Virtual training or return to attend the in-person training at a future date.
